So, remember last week how I talked about how annoying it was to hunt for the female Nidoran in Pokémon: Shining Pearl? Well, I have made a few more attempts since then with no success. Honestly, most of my long-term hunts have been like that recently. Today I managed to find two full-odd shiny Pokémon before I even saw a female Nidoran. That is absolutely absurd. So, I have decided that I am going to put this hunt on pause since hunting for a Pokémon with a 2% spawn rate is slowly eroding my last vestiges of sanity. Instead, in a couple of months, I will go and play Pokémon: Brilliant Diamond all the way through and hunt the Pokémon in that game instead. I won’t do any special quests or anything for that one, I just want to play through the game normally. I don’t need to do another badge quest since my current one hasn’t seen a gym yet. So that is one thing I’m planning on doing. The second thing is I am going to try and finish up some other games.
I have a terrible habit of playing most of the way through a game and not putting the finishing touches on it because I have too much fun exploring different areas. So, I’m going to try to work on a couple of games in my backlog if I can. That’s the goal at least. I’m trying to mix things up a little bit. There is also a game I am looking forward to playing that I will probably end up talking about next month so look forward to that. Anyway, that is what I have decided right now since I have been on a slight dry streak. I will still hunt from time to time, but not as much for just a little bit. So in the meantime, I think I am going to dust off an old friend and get back to it. Have a good night everyone and see you next time!
