Getting Ready to Set Sail

So, you may not know, but there is a particular series that I have been a fan of since college. I don’t remember exactly how it was brought to my attention, but I have enjoyed playing through the games in the series so far. This series is called Cat Quest, and features as you might expect from it, lots of cats. Of course, the quest part is the big selling point here as it is a simple RPG with levels, magic, and armor. You just happen to be a cat on an adventure. Curently there are only two games in the series with the third on the way. Going by the trailers that I have seen, this third one has a focus on pirates which should be interesting. I am thinking that it will be its own storyline just like the other two games. However, there is a possibility that there may be a universe I don’t quite understand yet. And I am not just saying that in the hopes that the dogs will come back from Cat Quest II.

I know this all sounds silly, but these games have their fair share of challenges for completion. The first game was a bit harder to complete since it required you to play through the game multiple times with increasing difficulty, but it was at least still managable. By the way, if you ever do decide to go for those challenges runs, remember that your level is the one thing that you want to keep normal since it directly correlates to your base stats and damage. Just trust me on that. The rest of it is just figuring out your style of fighting, not that it is super complex. again, it is a lighthearted RPG full of cat puns. Don’t expect things to be taken too seriously. It does have its serious moments though, especially when we get to the plot twist. So far each game has had one, so I believe the third one will have something similar in its campaign. Man, am I excited!

By the way, I forgot to mention that the third installment is coming out in three days on the 8th so that is why I have the game on my brain. Thank goodness I put it in my wishlist cause it might have dropped off my radar with my lack of Steam presence these days. i have no one but myslef to blame for that though Something else I found out is that I am really rusty at these games after doing a couple of practice sessions. I might try and work of that, but for now I am going to sign off. The next time you hear from me, I will be plundering treasure.

Nothing much to say. Just a guy who enjoys talking about games and has too much free time on his hands.
