Playing Super Mario RPG Remake

Once again, I would like to say that I hate Nintendo for releasing so many games at the end of the year. Especially because it seems like all my free time has been spent playing their games. It would probably help if I didn’t enjoy the games, but I regret to inform you that I greatly enjoy this game. I haven’t finished the game yet. I have unlocked the last area, but I thought it best to explore other areas and backtrack before heading to the final battle. Here are a couple of things I have figured out.

Now this is something I heard about and ended up finding accidentally. I heard that Mario’s strongest equipable weapon required you to go and find a seed and a fertilizer to gain access to it. Now the seed is pretty easy to find, but to get the fertilizer, there is a hidden platform that you need to find to get the fertilizer. It isn’t very easy to find so below I will show you roughly where to go to find it.

There was another secret I found and that was if you buy Fireworks for one of the Moles in Moleville, you can trade them with a mole nearby for a shiny stone. This stone allows you to open a sealed door in Monstro Town. Now, I would say that this game hasn’t offered up a ton of challenges. Sure, there were a couple of times when I got a game over, but those were usually due to my own carelessness and could easily be rectified upon reset. However, everything changed when I opened up that door. Thankfully, I remembered to save beforehand, because I was greeted with this monstrosity.

Yeah, apparently there was a hidden Final Fantasy boss in this game. Who knew? Not me, that’s for sure. Let’s just say that it was not a graceful defeat. That’s why I brought up the shell earlier. I would recommend being very prepared for this fight. Just a friendly reminder. Oh, and speaking of reminders, there is an important spot to fill out your journal. If you go to Booster Pass in the gap where the three green Spinies are, there is a guy who will charge you three frog coins to fill out an entry. It’s a bit expensive but the option is there for you.

There are plenty of other things I want to find, so I will probably keep putting off finishing the story for a little while longer. This game is a lot of fun and I might have to do another playthrough of this game at some point. I might be getting a little ahead of myself. I will let you know if I find anything else interesting. Until next time. Goodbye!

Nothing much to say. Just a guy who enjoys talking about games and has too much free time on his hands.
